Matthew in Dublin – Museum of Literature Ireland – MoLI

On a Friday afternoon in November I took a trip to MoLI, Museum of Literature Ireland, and it was honestly a brilliant day out. The Museum is located in the historic UCD Newman House. It was super easy to get there as it is on St. Stephen’s Green in the heart of Dublin city. I…

Get on Board for Gaza

At Vintage Tea Trips we pride ourselves on being a break from reality. A nostalgic place where the kettle is on, our hosts share stories of their beautiful city and while we take a jaunt around Dublin we have the laugh. We love that everyone feels welcome on board and leaves our biscuit tin on…

Anna in Dublin – GPO Museum

The GPO or General Post Office is one of the most important buildings in all of Irish history. It is the central post office here in Dublin and although it provides great postal service, that’s not what it is best known for. It served as the headquarters for the leaders of the 1916 Easter…

Georgia In Dublin – EPIC Irish Emigration Museum

This week we had the wonderful Georgia joining us for her TY Work experience. We sent her down to the docklands to EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum! This museum is the home to many great stories of Irish importance. It showcases the struggles and successes of the Irish population both within our small island and abroad. Upon arriving at the museum you receive your own individual Epic passport! As you make your way through each section of the tour, you can collect a new stamp for your passport from one of the designated stations. This creates a fun interactive experience and feels as if you are on a journey through the past of Irish history. The passport also acts as a guide to show you what you have done and where to go next. So you never get lost!

Daniel in Dublin – Celtic Nights

So last week myself and two of my colleagues, Adam and Kiera, went to Celtic Nights at the Arlington Hotel and honestly it was one of the best shows I’ve seen in a while. I had known of it but not known too much about it at the same time, so I didn’t know what to…
